Manly-Warringah Travelling Supporters – New Zealand Tour 2015

The Mighty Sea Eagles play the Auckland Warriors at Mt Smart Stadium on Saturday 25th July 2015.

Here is some useful information for those wishing to attend the game.

To allow you to select flights, transfers and accommodation that best fit your plans we are not managing that part of the trip so please make your own arrangements for those aspects?

We are still locking in some finer details for the weekend itself and will update you as things are finalised however here is the schedule so far to allow you to make plans and to reserve and pay for match tickets if you need them.

We have visited Auckland a number of times previously to cheer on the boys and we are always well looked after by the locals and the weekend is a lot of fun.

For those in town on Friday who are keen to catch up with others head to O’Hagans Irish Bar in the Viaduct area from 7pm.(www.ohagans.co.nz)

We’ve visited this venue a number of times on previous tours and we always have a great time here.

O’Hagans management have kindly arranged for our group to get discounted food and drink prices whilst we’re there which of course is another good reason to head there to catch up with the group.

Auckland is a vibrant city and there is lots to see and do so by all means take the opportunity to explore the place and see what it has to offer.

Saturday (game day)

As venues for food and drink are limited in the Mount Smart area we will again use O’Hagans as a base (from 1PM) for those wishing to catch up pre-game – This is where transport to the ground will collect us from and where we will be distributing the match tickets.

Box Office: 12noon
Gates Open: 12:30pm
NYC Kick-off: 12:40pm
NSW Cup Kick-off: 2:45pm
NRL Kick-off: 5pm
Approx. Finish: 7pm

As NRL Kick off is 5pm (local time) and the ground is around a 30 minute trip from town on game day we'll arrange for the transport to collect us from the Viaduct area at around 3.45pm and then collect us around 7.30 pm to bring us back to town.

For those wishing to head to the ground for the earlier games we are happy to assist with those plans.

Transport to the stadium will be by taxi (pay on the day) – budget around NZ$20 return per head? We have a preferred supplier for this aspect so will use them and we'll make the arrangements.
